Targeted Donations (Colton Nadal)
Miles Nadal and Stewart Colton, two Tel Aviv University contributors who also hold honorary doctorates, joined together to support the development of new technologies with commercial potential in the areas of medical microscopy, drug development, engineering and energy. The amount of funding is about $100,000 for one year.
The Technological Infrastructure Division of the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) focuses on collaboration between industry and academia to produce advanced technologies and innovative products. Its programs promote cooperation, knowledge and experience exchange, and development of generic groundbreaking knowledge by an integrated group of researchers. These programs aim to strengthen the long-term technological advantages of Israeli industry in the face of international competition.
Encourages the development of creative technological solutions for military and industrial use.
Encourages the transfer of academic technology knowledge to the industry by creating collaborations between Israeli companies and research groups.
Supports translational research conducted by academia, and partially funded by an industrial company which sees the commercial potential of the research objectives.

Through multiple value enhancement tools, including its $24M Momentum Fund, Ramot invests in and supports promising innovations by Tel Aviv University researchers. Among these initiatives is the incubator and Momentum Fund, in the field of the Internet of Things, which includes seven additional international companies.

This fund invests in breakthrough technologies with significant commercial potential in a wide range of fields, including engineering and science, environment and clean technologies, pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
Selected projects can receive up to $1M in funding, subject to the successful completion of significant milestones.
