As reflected by the recently approved FDA Modernization Act, Alternative methods for animal testing of regulated products are gaining increased attention in recent years due to concerns regarding the ethics and effectiveness of traditional animal testing methods.
It has long been known that animal models fail to predict therapeutic responses in humans, particularly regarding toxicity and evaluation of efficacy in rare conditions. This has paved the way for the development of alternative methods that will enable to get safer, more effective drugs to the market.
The global non-animal alternative testing market share was $9,806.6 million in 2021 and is predicted to grow rapidly with a CAGR of 13.48%, by generating a revenue of $29,390.3 million by 2030.
In this event, we will explore this fascinating field, presented by 3 leading researchers from Tel-Aviv University.
