We now live in an era of extraordinary breakthroughs to turn scientific discoveries into disease modifying treatments for rare diseases. Approximately 7,000 rare diseases affect hundreds of millions of individuals globally.  Most of them are genetically based. Despite these scientific advances, more than 90% of rare diseases still lack an effective treatment.

Opportunities now exist to accelerate drug development for the treatment of rare diseases.
In this event, we will present three state-of-the-art drug discovery strategies for several orphan diseases from our top researchers from Tel Aviv University.

Each technology will be presented for about 10-15 min,
