Over the past few years, the fields of robotics and robotic automation have boomed. More and more companies from around the world and from all industries are using robots as part of their production processes. Today’s robots are extremely intelligent. The flexibility and accuracy together with the computerized engines and algorithms, brought robotics, physical and virtual (avatars), to a whole new level, by integrating strong computer vision and sensing combined with AI and machine learning.

The event will feature two leading Tel Aviv University researchers in the field: 

Prof. Goren Gordon

• Virtual Agent/Avatar facilitator for small group discussions in videoconferencing incorporating AI and NLP.
• Physical robot facilitator, AI driven, for small groups’ social activities in the “real world.”

Dr. Avishai Sintov

• Intuitive Human-Robot Collaboration and Affordable Robotic Hardware- Innovative solutions developed at the Robotics Lab involving wearable technology for Human-Robot Collaboration and low-cost robotic hardware for grasping and manipulation

The event will start with opening remarks from Ramot’s CEO, Keren Primor Cohen,
and will be moderated by Yair Eran, VP Business Development, Engineering and IT.

The event will last for approximately one hour.
