Ramot at Tel Aviv University Names Keren Primor Cohen CEO

Working at Ramot since 2007, Keren has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating complex licensing, research, development and technology transfer arrangements, research collaboration agreements and other commercial transactions with a focus on intellectual property. Keren was part of the establishment of the Momentum Fund – Ramot’s attraction to MNCs and VCs to invest in academic translational research, as well as TAU Ventures – TAU’s arm for investing in early stage, cutting-edge, technologies and innovation distribution.
She holds a B.A. in Economics and LL.B. and LL.M. degrees, all from Tel Aviv University, and has been a member of the Israeli Bar Association since 2000. Prior to joining Ramot, she served as legal counsel at Yeda Research and Development Co. Ltd., the technology-transfer office of the Weizmann Institute of Science, and at RiT Technologies Ltd., a publicly traded Israeli company.
Shlomo Nimrodi, former CEO of Ramot, is leaving Ramot after seven years in which Ramot has shown growth in transferring of technologies to Multi-Nationals companies and establishment of Israeli startup companies.
