RAMOT@TAU Calls on Industry to Partner in Developing Novel Technologies and Research Solutions for COVID-19.

Join the global efforts to fight COVID-19!

TAU researchers are employing diverse research strategies to address the urgent need for prophylactic, diagnostic, preventive therapies and treatments.

A dedicated research center with BSL-3 laboratories, essential for work with SARS- CoV-2 is currently being constructed at Tel Aviv University and will soon be operative.

We are looking to collaborate with potential partners (i.e. established companies, start-ups, VC’s, private investors, etc) that are seeking to join this global effort via supporting research from Tel Aviv University in order to accelerate and advance these technologies.

Such collaborations can be conducted in collaboration with the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA), as well as via sponsored research and other forms of collaboration.

Here are a few examples of our cutting edge research projects in the field: 

• Chemiluminescence probes for rapid detection of COVID-19
• Development of antibodies for detection and treatment of COVID-19
• Strategies for targeting ACE2 to treat and prevent SARS-CoV-2
• a point-of-care, multiplex nanosensor arrays for the ultrasensitive and rapid direct detection of coronavirus particles and associated antibodies from blood and saliva samples.
• A system for the selective treatment and inactivation of the COVID-19 virus.
• Isolation of anti- SARS-CoV-2 broadly neutralizing antibodies (bNAbs) from SARS-CoV-2 infected donors
• High-throughput screen for identifying novel viral entry inhibitors against the SARS-CoV-2
• Passive immunization of COVID 19 based on novel synthetic antibodies
• At-home diagnostic and monitoring tests of COVID-19
• Understanding infectivity of Coronavirus using NLP data-mining
