Prof. Lihi Adler-Abramovich is a Professor at the School of Dental Medicine, Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, where she serves as principal investigator and head of the Laboratory of Bioinspired Materials and Nanotechnology. She completed her PhD in Biology at Tel Aviv University. She has been awarded numerous prestigious grants including the ERC Starting Grant, ERC-Proof of Concept, and ISF-Center for Excellence Grant.

Prof. Adler-Abramovich’s research focuses on mimicking self-assembly processes that occur in nature, including biomineralization and the organization of short peptides and amino acids into ordered nanostructures. Her multidisciplinary laboratory develops new biomaterials and 3D hydrogel scaffolds for tissue engineering, controlled drug release vehicles, and antimicrobial applications. She has published over 100 publications in prestigious journals including Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Chemical Biology, and ACS Nano, and holds more than 20 patents. She co-founded Arrakis Bio LTD, focusing on animal-free collagen production.
