Prof. Alexander Battler, past president of the Israel Heart Society and the International Society for Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy, Professor and David Halperne Chair in Cellular and Molecular Cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine -Tel Aviv University and Chairman of the Israeli National Council for Prevention and Treatment of Cardiac and Cardiovascular Diseases. Author of more than 200 original articles, he is a frequently invited lecturer at international meetings around the globe.
