Prof. Shalev-Mevorach Lilach
Prof. Lilach Shalev-Mevorach is a Professor of Cognitive Neuropsychology at Tel Aviv University, where she leads the Attention Lab affiliated with the Sagol School of Neuroscience and the School of Education. She also serves as Head of the MA program in Learning Disabilities and is an active member of the university’s Committee for Learning Innovation.
Prof. Shalev-Mevorach’s internationally recognized research focuses on the assessment and training of attention and cognitive control, with an emphasis on their role in various types of learning across typical and clinical populations—including ADHD and ASD—spanning children to adults. Her lab combines neuropsychological, physiological, and advanced neuroimaging methods to reveal the multifaceted nature of attention, developing individualized attention profiles and cognitive training interventions tailored to learners’ unique needs.
Shalev-Mevorach has collaborations with research partners in Israel, the UK, Japan, Brazil, Spain, and Greece, aimed at improving academic performance for diverse learners—including the development of tools for teachers and professionals worldwide.
