Osnat joined Ramot as VP business development for MedTech, bringing over 15 years of experience in the translation of innovative health technologies. Before joining Ramot, Osnat was a Principal Investor at aMoon Ventures Growth Fund, where she sourced and evaluated late-stage HealthTech deals, as well as supported portfolio companies, with specific focus on medical device and AI-driven technologies.
Prior to her 3.5 years at aMoon, Osnat was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and UPC, where she led the development of DEBBIE, the first automated biomaterials text-mining pipeline. Her R&D experience also included a head of biology role at the biotechnology startup Beta-O2, and a post-doctoral position at the University of Oxford, where she developed and patented two novel implant for rotator cuff surgery.
Osnat has a PhD in biomedical materials from Queen Mary, University of London.
